The Unsafe Social Worker is a personal advocacy site published by Jennifer Davidson. It hosts essays and journals from Jennifer. The site is intended to inform and to give voice to helping professionals who have faced workplace violence, harassment, or institutional silencing.

2. What this site is not

• Not legal advice. Nothing on this site creates a lawyer-client or fiduciary relationship.
• Not medical, mental-health, or crisis-counselling advice. If you are in crisis, contact a qualified professional or an emergency line.
• Not a substitute for your union, professional college, or your provincial Occupational Health and Safety regulator.
• Not affiliated with any government, employer, or union, regardless of who or what is named in the editorial content.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site to:

• Identify, dox, threaten, or harass any third party named in the site's editorial content.
• Send content through the contact form that you do not have the right to share, or that is false in a way that could harm someone.
• Attempt to circumvent the site's security, scrape data at scale, or interfere with its normal operation.
• Use the site to promote products or services without permission.

4. Third-party links

The site may link to third-party sites (news articles, resource directories, social profiles). We do not control these sites and we are not responsible for their content, practices, or privacy policies.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law we make no warranties about accuracy, reliability, fitness for any purpose, or uninterrupted availability of the site.

6. Limitation of liability

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid to use this site, which is zero.
